WITH THEIR DIVERSE RANGE OF CULINARY OFFERINGS AND EXTRAORDINARY DISPLAYS, THEY QUICKLY BECAME INDUSTRY LEADERS, KNOWN FOR FUN, ELEVATED, OVER-THE-TOP CATERING. THEIR MENU REFLECTS THE DIVERSITY IN LOS ANGELES' CULINARY LANDSCAPE, AND PULLS FROM THE CUISINE OF JULIE'S HOME COUNTRY OF KOREA, ALONG WITH HEAVY INFLUENCE FROM MEXICO, THE MEDITERRANEAN, AND SOUTHEAST ASIA.

 
 

MEET CRYSTAL

PRESIDENT

CRYSTAL COSER BECAME AN EXPERT IN THE LOCAL CULINARY LANDSCAPE AS THE ASSOCIATE EDITOR OF EATER LA. SHE ALSO WORKED AT THE EXPERIENTIAL MARKETING FIRM NVE IN HOLLYWOOD, PRODUCING CELEBRITY AND CORPORATE EVENTS BEFORE BECOMING DIRECTOR OF BRAND STRATEGY AND CREATIVE DIRECTOR AT AGE 25.

CRYSTAL GRADUATED FROM HARVARD UNIVERSITY WITH A DEGREE IN ECONOMICS AND A DOUBLE MINOR IN FRENCH AND THE HISTORY OF ART AND ARCHITECTURE. AT HARVARD, SHE WAS THE MANAGER OF THE UNIVERSITY'S RESTAURANT AND PUB, THE CHAIR OF THE COLLEGE EVENTS BOARD, AND THE RESTAURANT CRITIC FOR THE SCHOOL'S MAGAZINE. CRYSTAL ALSO STUDIED FOOD SCIENCE WITH CHEFS JOSE ANDRES AND FERRAN ADRIA AND WORKED AT THE RESTAURANT CONSULTING FIRM AVERO IN NEW YORK.

SHE LOVES TEQUILA, TUPAC, AND MACAROONS.

EXECUTIVE CHEF

CHEF JULIE HAS WORKED IN THE RESTAURANT AND CATERING INDUSTRY FOR THE PAST THIRTY YEARS. AFTER OPERATING FIVE RESTAURANTS THROUGHOUT THE LOS ANGELES AREA, SHE WENT ON TO CATER HUNDREDS OF PRIVATE, PHILANTHROPIC, AND CORPORATE EVENTS IN THE SOUTH BAY AND BECAME KNOWN FOR HER DEFTLY SEASONED CUISINE WITH INTERNATIONAL FLAIR. JULIE GRADUATED FROM LE CORDON BLEU WITH HIGH HONORS.

CHEF JULIE CONTINUES TO GROW HER LOVE FOR CULTURE AND FOOD AND TRAVELS OFTEN, BRINGING BACK INSPIRATION FOR THE CONSTANTLY CHANGING BITES & BASHES DISHES. HER MOST RECENT TRIP WAS TO KOREA, RENEWING HER LOVE FOR KOREAN CUISINE.

WELCOME TO THE COSER FAMILY FARM!

OUR CATERING AND CAFE MENUS FEATURE ORGANIC PRODUCE FROM THE COSER FAMILY FARM WHENEVER POSSIBLE. THE COSER FAMILY FARM IS A TWO-ACRE PARCEL RUN BY BITES & BASHES CFO (CHIEF FARMING OFFICER) RUSS COSER, AKA “DAD”. THE PROLIFIC 120-TREE ORCHARD GROWS FRUITS INCLUDING MEYER LEMONS, CALAMANSI, FUJI APPLES, FUYU PERSIMMONS, JUJUBES, AND KOREAN PEARS. THE FARM ALSO PRODUCES EVERYTHING FROM HEIRLOOM TOMATOES TO AVOCADOS TO PUMPKINS, WITH HERBS AND EDIBLE FLOWERS YEAR-ROUND.
